Repair Meniscus Without Surgery
REPAIR MENISCUS WITHOUT SURGERY
She tore her meniscus and medial ligament in her knee according to the EMT’s. They told her to go to the hospital and probably would need to have surgery for repair. She came into see me and ask if there was anything that could be done naturally. I told her the surgery would be her faster way for repair but sometimes they don’t always turn out the way you like and you may still have problems with it. She was in a great deal of pain. I told her if it were my knee I would do the following and warned her it would take 3 months to heal correctly.
Ice it each and every night for the first week until swelling goes down. Always rest it every chance she had during the day by putting it up and taking the pressure off the knee. She had a job that required her to be on her feet a lot.
Deep Heat - 2 to 3 times a day rubbed on the knees. Both that way the other knee did not take the brunt of the work since she was limping.
Joint and Muscle System Extract – 1 teaspoon 3 times a day the first 2 weeks then reduce to 2 times a day for the next 2 weeks and then 1 or 2 times a day for the following 8 weeks depending on how much she walked and the discomfort in the knee by night time.
If pain was more than she could handle she was to add Nervous System Extract 1 or 2 times a day.
Bone/Skin Poultice – 2 caps with each meal for 3 months.
Also her choice to take a whole food tonic daily.
3 months to the day we met she came in walking just fine. Said no more pain and it felt very strong.
I suggested she always be aware of it though and know that any time she would feel it to use the Deep Heat Ointment or Joint and Muscle System Extract as needed.
That was 3 years ago and she is doing well with her knee. She is on her feet a lot with her work so he knee was important to heal correctly. She said she has no pain unless she overdoes it then might feel some discomfort so just rubs it down with Deep Heat.
