WHAT WILL HAPPEN TO OUR
MEDICAL INSURANCE?

As we launch in 2008 there are many of us wondering what will happen to our medical insurance. A long time ago someone told me that if you do not have your health then you have nothing. So most of our lives we have always been afraid to not have some kind of insurance just in case. We often live our lives not in touch with ourselves and just go about being busy. We pay no attention to what we eat, how we feel, or what we believe until someone asks the question. And our hope is the insurance will take care of any old thing that happens to us whether it is an accident or dis-ease.

Ever notice when someone greets you and says “How are you?” We respond so automatically we really don’t even know how we really feel. Ask someone who is a hypochondriac and they will let you know how they feel. They know they feel something all the time. So again there needs to be a balance.

In our day and age we need to consider who is really responsible for our health. That’s right YOU ARE! No one will take care of you, love you, cure you, or heal you like you will. Trust me, on this one.

I am a cancer survivor. I did it by curing myself. That does not mean I did not confer with the Medical Profession. I did. But I made my own decisions as to what I was willing to do. No Doctor, lawyer, or Indian Chief can fix you better than you can. Nor can they make a better decision for you. But you must be informed. Educate yourself about health. Know what is available to you, research it, and make your decisions that fit for you. And remember your insurance won’t pay for it. Take it upon yourself to be committed and dedicated to yourself and your healing even if it is just a cold.

We have made Doctors our Gods and we have said cure me or else you are to blame. They are just as we are. They live, die; put their pants on the same way as you and I do. We need to stop all this and get on board with the facts about our genetics and the possibility that there are miracles and we can change this pattern we have fallen into with our health. Just because someone in your family has a dis-ease does not mean you have it but there are possibilities you could, but there are also possibilities you can change it before it happens. I made changes and so can you!

But don’t wait until it is too late. Start today thinking about what you eat, what you feel, what you believe, and who you are, what you really want out of this life and really think about it. You won’t be sorry.

One small change is all it takes to make it all happen. You cannot change the world but you can change you. Start today.
