The "Essences
for People" and "Essences
for Animals" pages linked from the left navigation
bar found on all the pages of this site list all the available
Canadian Forest Tree Essences. By clicking on one of the essence
names, you will be taken to the individual essence description.
This information can also be found in printed form within the
Canadian Forest
Tree Essences Guidebook, which also contains two detailed
indices to help you quickly choose the required essences.
The Guidebook is designed to be a tool to help you easily
and confidently choose essences for yourself and others.
It will be useful to you whether your primary approach to selecting
an essence is through listening and observation, muscle testing,
iridology (eye analysis), use of a pendulum or another method.
With Canadian Forest Tree Essences you are working with vibrational
formulations: a feeling for the resonant qualities of the essences
will grow over time with your knowledge and experience.
Trust your Intuition
With vibrational essences sensitivity and intuition play a
key role in their selection and use. With essences, you may
often have an intuitive sense of which essence is right.
Listen to and trust your intuition to guide you. More often
than not, an intuitive choice – supported by observation
and knowledge – proves to be a good one.
To explore further the vibrational and resonant qualities of
the essences read the book “Canadian
Forest Tree Essences – Vibrational Healing Through the
Natural Resonance of Trees,” by Daniel Tigner.
Individual Essence Descriptions
The Individual Essence Descriptions linked from the "Essences
for People" and "Essences
for Animals" pages (and in printed form in the Guidebook)
are structured to allow you to quickly identify the key qualities
and dynamics of an essence. Each essence description begins
with a succinct synopsis of the essence, giving you its essential
flavor. This is followed by keywords and phrases under the headings
of: “FOR FEELINGS OF,” “PATTERNS & BEHAVIORS,”
and “CONCERNS & STATEMENTS.”
Asking Key Questions to Narrow Your Choice of Essences
Often, when we are either selecting an essence for ourselves
or others, many possible choices will arise. The following strategy
– suggested by Alicia Rocco, who has worked more
than 30 years as a healer and teacher of iridology, herbs and
essences– will help you narrow down the choice of essences.
Alicia asks her client 3 questions:
What do you want to work on most?
What makes you saddest?
What makes you happiest?
Alicia says that the answers to these questions will cut through
to the core issue at hand.
How Many Essences May Be Used at One Time?
Keep It Simple is a basic principle of healing: the
body/mind can only handle so much input.
As a rule of thumb, narrow the choice to 1 combination essence
along with 1 single essence. Two complementary or synergistically
working combination essences may be used if needed. We have
listed these in the Individual Essence Description under the
heading of “COMPLEMENTARY ESSENCES.”
Using the Guidebook for Essence Selection
A good place to start your search for an essence is the Index
of feelings, patterns, behaviors, concerns and statements (page
57 of the printed Guidebook).
Beside each word or phrase in the index is the name of one or
more essence. After you have identified possible essences in
the Index, go to the Individual Essence Descriptions to make
your final choice(s).
